2007 WRAP-UP

Going off Josh's post, let's get some updates from everyone with these questions:

1) Where do you live? Where do you work? Do you have a significant other?
2) Anything great happen in 2007 you want to share?
3) Any big plans-career/personal wise for 2008?
4) What did you miss most about the Adcenter?
5) Uhhhh, leave something creative/funny/interesting/innovative here

I think it's about time for a 2-year anniversary in..... Richmond, Virginia. I know you guys want to check out the new Adcenter. We should make a weekend out of it.

1) New Orleans, Trumpet

2) I started the year off working at Naked in London. Took a month off and traveled to Barcelona and Prague. Moved to New Orleans. Partied and ate a lot. Threw the first Connection Planning Conference. Launched alldaybuffet. Drove traditional conservative clients in New Orleans crazy. And now ending the year looking forward to 2008

3) Anything related to Innovation. And to changing the world

4) Nothing

5) Advertising is DEAD

1.) I live in Chicago. Right now, I'm freelancing for Neighborhood America. No, it's not as cheesy as it sounds. They're a consulting company that helps brands develop online and mobile communities. Before that I was at Carmichael Lynch (boo!) and before CL I working for Sally Hogshead.

Still looking for a permanent "home" so to speak. NA has been great and fun, but I'm not sure if I want to go with that or get more ad agency experience. Let me know if you guys hear of anything. Or have any advice.

Oh, and no significant other. Mike dumped my ass.

2.) It doesn't feel like it yet, but I'm sure me and Mike breaking up was probably the greatest thing that could have happened to me. Other than that, witnessing one of my best friends get married was amazing.

3.) Professionally - start a side business selling my art. Personally - run a 5k (I know a 5k isn't much but I'm pretty mushy).

4.) Pretty much the only thing I miss about Adcenter is having easy access to you goofballs.

5.) My mom thought Tom and Josh were "partners." She also thought Josh was very handsome and charming.

I'm def down with a weekend in Richmond sometime:)

1) Living in Baltimore... specifically, the Canton section. Working at Exit10 and loving it. I'm spoiled. Significant others: Jordan and Brian.

2) Sister got married. Brian got knee surgery.

3) Wondering if there are plans to move in 2008. Getting tired of the city. Want to slow down a little.

4) I miss having projects devoted to planning... planning having it's place. It's tough to wiggle in and try to interject with planning without slowing the process down.

5) It kinda creeps me out to see Charlie without a beard.
