Why do humans have two sets of teeth? Do other mammals have two sets? Is it because we outgrow them? Why don't they just grow like the rest of our bones?
I could try to look it up, but that would take time and effort.

Second, I know that dogs have two sets as well. When my family had our puppy he'd lose his puppy teeth all over the house and we'd randomly find them. It was weird. Gross. They were very tiny. Maybe they don't grow like our other bones because they're exposed?
